Morrissey gives us yet another world-love themed hit with his new song 'Love Is On Its Way Out.'

Morrissey

In his new song 'Love Is on Its Way Out,' Morrissey starts off with a bit of electronic sound, synths and drums dominate the track as his voice slowly comes o the foreground. The song reaches its peak pretty dramatically and stays here until the end of the song. Meanwhile, Morrissey is giving us a description of the current state of the world: “Love is broken down, it’s on its way out,” he sings, “Did you see the sad rich/Hunting down, shooting down elephants and lions?”

'Love Is on Its Way Out' is Morrissey's second single from his forthcoming album 'I am Not a Dog on a Leash'. First single, titled 'Bobby Don't You Think They Know' featured Thelma Houston. As Rolling Stone writes, Morrissey recorded the whole album in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, with the help of producer Joe Chiccarelli. Although Morrissey's last project was his covers album California Son, from 2019, his last release of original music is 2017's Low In High School.

His new album 'I Am Not a Dog on a Leash' is out on March 20th via BMG. 'Love Is on Its Way Out' is available on Youtube now.
